Common Issues and Solutions
The app does not appear in Samsung Apps
Verify that your TV is a 2016 model or later with Tizen OS. Older models are not compatible. Try searching for "OTTPLAYER" (all one word). If it still does not appear, check your region in the TV settings.
Streams do not load or keep buffering
Check your Internet connection. Try using a wired Ethernet connection instead of WiFi for better stability. Unplug the TV from power for 1 minute to clear the cache. Verify that the URLs in your playlist are active.
Incompatible codec error
Samsung TVs with Tizen support H.264 and H.265 (HEVC). If your streams use a different codec, they will not be compatible. Contact your list provider to request streams in a compatible format.
The MAC changed when switching from WiFi to Ethernet
Each Samsung TV has two MAC addresses: one for WiFi and one for Ethernet. When switching the connection type, you will need to register the new MAC in your account or always maintain the same connection type.
The EPG guide does not display
Make sure you have configured a valid EPG source in your account and that you have associated the channels with their corresponding EPG IDs. The guide may take a few minutes to sync.
